With the NFL Draft in Las Vegas in 2022, Will There Be Enough Employees?

Las Vegas will host the NFL Draft next year after missing out in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Las Vegas is set to hold the NFL draft and Pro Bowlin 2022.

The 2022 NFL draft will be held April 28-30, 2022, while the Pro Bowl is slated for February 8, 2022.

Hotels To Be At Capacity

The hospitality room- and occupancy rates for the NFL draft are expected to be through the roof…which is exciting news for our city and for the entire Las Vegas travel and hospitality industry.

Las Vegas-area hotels and casinos were temporarily shut down during the pandemic. Conventions and big-name shows were also canceled, leaving the city dark.

The 2022 NFL draft is expected to be a big draw, with nightly rates at major hotels already doubling and tripling.

Las Vegas Is Hiring

There will be a lot of hiring in advance of the draft for both part-time and full-time employees. All areas will need to beef up staffing to service the expected surge in occupancy for the NFL draft: Hotel and lodging, casinos, restaurant/food service, entertainment, event planning, and transportation.

With less than one year until the big event, the race is on to find, screen, hire, and train staff. Background screenings are important tools to make sure your guests and customers are safe and your reputation is protected.

• Are your employment candidates who they say they are?
• Can you verify that your potential employee has the background or education required to do the job?
• Do your potential hires have a criminal record?

Five Diamond Screening in Las Vegas, Nevada, is the only background screening and drug testing partner that focuses solely on the hospitality, leisure, and transportation industries. We help you get potential employees to work (or back to work) quickly, with pre-employment background screenings that are accurate and customized to your needs
